Crazed Collector: Fall (Sept/Oct/Nov) 2006 Vol. 5 Issue 2Royal Winton's "Sweet Nancy" pattern echos the colors of fall and we usher in the autumn season with an article on Thanksgiving postcards.Susan Scott contributes an article on mysteries with an antiquing theme...the perfect thing to curl up by the fire with a hot steaming mug of tea on a chilly fall day. Inside, you'll also find articles on fire engine collectibles, antiquing trips around California and North Carolina, coverage of a very special tea party, and echoing the "Nancy" theme, a short article on Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls. Keith Larson contributes a fascinating article on Royal Winton's lusterware items, accompanied by loads of photos of unusual shapes and patterns. Our featured collector, tea-lover Arlene Brenner, shares her very unique collections, including a parade float in the shape of a teapot!

Crazed Collector: Summer (June/July/Aug) 2006 Vol. 5 Issue 1Welbeck is one of our most favorite patterns, and here it is gracing our masthead for the Summer 2006 issue. Inside, you'll find articles on vintage Garden Gnomes, rare and unusual Royal Winton chintz patterns, Elegant Depression Glass and candy dishes. Our featured collector is Angie Soss, who has a lovely chintz collection (lots of Welbeck and Sweet Pea!), and other interesting and rare collections.

Crazed Collector: April 2006 Vol. 4 Issue 5Think pink! Here it is....The long-awaited "All chintz, nothing else" issue featuring Crown Ducal's "Pink Chintz". Inside you'll find historical references on chintz patterns, articles on chintz boxes and ashtrays, collecting in the early days, and much, much more. Our featured collector is Sara Evans and her extensive collection of the "Lorna Doone" chintz pattern. Our readers sent us fabulous photos of their "Pink Chintz" pieces and we even have a feature on the different cup shapes produced by Royal Winton.

Crazed Collector: Feb/Mar 2006 Vol. 4 Issue 4In this issue we feature the Royal Winton "Somerset" pattern, to herald the coming of Spring. We feature a crazed collector of chintz bud vases who has over 60 examples in her collection! Our featured chintz collector is Renee Fox, who also has a popular antique shop in southern California. Caliente potteryl Josef figurines as well as Iroquois Whimsies are also highlighted in this issue. Decorating a laundry room with vintage laundry items introduces a new feature on our pages. Our featured artisan is Kimberly Ryan, who does lovely rose paintings on everyday objects. Stay tuned for our next issue which is our first annual "All Chintz, Nothing Else" issue!

Crazed Collector: Dec/Jan 2006 Vol. 4 Issue 3In this issue we feature the Royal Winton "Victorian" pattern, as well as all our favorite Victoriana collectibles. We also feature a fabulous collection of Victorian wedding finery from the Victorian Bridal Museum in San Jacinto, CA. Also featured are various collections of Mauchlin Ware, Victorian face screens, ornate lighting,beaded handbags, Victorian hair art, and figural silver napkin rings. Our featured artisan is Lucy Webber who fashions vintage-looking cotton batting ornaments.

Crazed Collector: Winter 2003 Vol. 2 Issue 3Our second holiday issue again was a double issue featuring the new Royal Winton “Wintertime” pattern as the masthead. In this issue we reported on a holiday trip to Savannah, Georgia where we found lots of goodies for our collections. The Collector Profile featured the home of Nancy and Bud Dawson in Vancouver, BC. We also covered the Australian Chintz Convention as well as other chintz events around the world. An article on Glasgow style introduced our readers to the Art Nouveau style prevalent in Glasgow,Scotland. We started the first in a series of articles on charms, with this issue featuring stanhopes. |

Crazed Collector: Summer 2003 Vol. 2 Issue 1Our Summer 2003 issue featured the theme of blue and white china. We also celebrated our 1 year anniversary of publishing. We featured the enormous chintz collection of John Murray in Vancouver .With a nod to June and summer being the high season for weddings, we also had an article on vintage wedding cake toppers and a feature on antiquing in the Niagara Falls area. Other areas of collecting were also highlighted…collectors of vintage irons, blue and white pottery, and chintz patterned tin items.

Crazed Collector: March 2003 Vol. 1 Issue 4We ended our first publishing year with our March 2003 issue which featured the Royal Winton “Sprintime” chintz pattern. Our featured collector was Nancy Hemstreet who had a home filled with lucious chintz. We featured a tea room review, a story on antiquing in the UK, and articles on various chintz events around the US. Also featured was the home of a collector…no chintz, but loads of depression glass and American Art pottery, button hooks, and many art deco items. The Crown Ducal “Beaumont” pattern was featured, as well as a collector who only collects Crown Ducal’s “Ascot” chintz.

Crazed Collector: December 2002 Vol. 1 Issue 3Our first holiday issue was a double issue featuring the Royal Winton “Julia” chintz pattern. The focus of this issue was our Australia trip, visiting the homes and photographing the homes of the Australian collectors. We feature 2 Collector Profiles – Dianne Bryant and Alison Henley who share their many “go with” collections which complement chintz so well. Also featured is our first “Truly Crazed Collector”, Steve Rusconi who collects Southern Pacific Railroad memorabilia. Contributions from other writers include a feature on bone china Staffordshire flowers and an artist who crafts wedding cake toppers in ceramic, that are spitting images of the bride and groom.
